Privacy Notice

This notice explains what data doc cure collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we process your documents only to remediate them, we don't train AI models on your content, and we keep them only as long as your retention setting allows.

Last updated: July 23, 2026

Draft pending legal review. This notice reflects how the product handles data today and should be reviewed by privacy counsel — and reconciled with your actual data map and subprocessor agreements — before it is relied upon.

1

Who we are

doc cure, inc. (“doc cure,” “we,” or “us”) provides an AI-assisted PDF accessibility remediation service. This notice covers our website and the DocCure.ai application. For account holders acting on behalf of an organization, that organization is typically the controller of the documents it uploads, and doc cure acts as its processor — see our Data Processing Addendum.

2

What we collect

We collect:

  • Account data — name, email, and authentication details, handled by our identity provider.
  • Documents you upload (“Your Content”) and the remediated files and reports we generate from them.
  • Usage and billing data — credits used, plan, and product events used to operate and improve the Service.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and cookies necessary to run the site.
3

How we use it

We use your data to provide and secure the Service — processing and remediating your documents, generating reports, authenticating you, billing credits, providing support, and improving reliability and quality. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use Your Content to train AI models.

4

Your documents and AI processing

To remediate a document we may pass its content — including images from it — to third-party AI and OCR providers acting on our behalf (for example, to generate alternative text). We instruct these providers not to train on your content. Your Content is used only to deliver the Service to you.

5

Retention

We keep Your Content only as long as your retention setting allows (for example, a default window that you can shorten), and we keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal and accounting purposes. When a retention window ends, we delete the associated files from active systems; residual copies in backups age out on our normal backup cycle.

6

How we share it

We share data with subprocessors that help us run the Service (hosting, storage, database, authentication, AI/OCR, analytics, and job orchestration) — listed on our sub-processors page. We may also disclose data to comply with law or to protect our rights, and we may transfer data in connection with a merger or acquisition. We do not sell personal data.

7

Security

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, isolate tenants, restrict access to authorized personnel, and require multi-factor authentication for administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to incidents. See our Trust page for more.

8

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the EEA/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA), among others, have specific rights. To exercise them, contact us at privacy@doccure.ai. Where doc cure processes documents on behalf of an organization, please direct requests to that organization.

9

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary to run the site and keep you signed in, and limited analytics to understand product usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser or any consent controls we provide.

10

International transfers

We and our subprocessors may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11

Children

The Service is not directed to children and is intended for organizational and professional use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12
